Homeland Hospital began operations on 20th July 2015 with a clear purpose—to provide accessible, reliable, and quality healthcare to the people of Wa and the wider Upper West Region. Established to reduce the burden of long-distance travel for both basic and specialized medical services, the Hospital has grown into a trusted healthcare provider within the community.
Over the past decade, Homeland Hospital has experienced steady and purposeful growth. What started primarily as an Outpatient Department (OPD) facility has evolved into a comprehensive healthcare institution offering a wide range of integrated services. Our service expansion reflects our commitment to meeting the changing health needs of our patients. Today, our services include OPD, Detention, Inpatient care, Surgical services, and Specialist care, all delivered with professionalism and compassion.
Our journey has been marked by continuous improvement in both capacity and expertise. We have progressed from a clinic managed by a Medical Assistant, to a facility staffed by Medical Doctors, and now operate as a Primary Hospital—a testament to our dedication to growth, quality, and excellence in healthcare delivery.
